[spoiler]It starts off with the shitty CG intro, Donte beds two strippers drunk, wakes up the next morning to the door bell, goes out naked and meets Kat, Hunter appears and fucks up his trailer, one ridiculous dressing up sequence and obligatory tutorial boss fight later, Kat tells him to follow her, then there is the part in the demo where you have to go through the city killing cameras and GOW-like QTE's; after that they reach the slums where Donte meets Vorgil.
Vorgil explains all the plan to save humanity, which consists of three parts:
1)Destroy the poison(Virility)
2)Stop the brainwashing(Raptor News)
3)Kill the enslaver(Kyle/Mondus)
Donte agrees to help, Donte goes to the club from the night before and bouncer tells him he can't come in, a suckerpunch later we're in the club, one of the strippers recognizes him and tells him that last night was great, he tells her he is busy and to GTFO, she screams "Fuck you Donte!" and all the demons in the club try to kill him in Limbo, after beating the whole Devil's Got Talent segment, we get some info on the Virility factory and Donte leaves.
Kat and Donte arrive at the Virility factory and after some platforming sequences with inverted gravity and more Super Mario Galaxy stuff, he kills the Succubus and gets info on Kyle/Mondus plus the truth about Virility.
Afterwards, Kat, Vorgil and Donte enter the Raptor News building to stop TEH DEMANS brainwashing media, while Vorgil and KAt hack and destroy the systems, Donte has to defeat Bob. During the time he was fighting the TV host, Kat manages to fuck up and get kidnapped, Donte barely escaping with the help of Vorgil.
The "twins" fight about wether to save Kat or go and kill Kyle, but Vorgil pussies out and agrees to save Kat first. After arriving to the place where she was supposed to be it turns out to be an ambush set by Kyle where Kat is killed and Vorgil reveals himself to be a traitor. Kyle and Vorgil leave and Dante has to kill a bunch of Elite mooks, afterwards he goes to Kyle's mansion for even more revenge.
After entering the mansion, Donte fights and kills Mondus; Vorgil, now a puppet without master, decides that he is going to run the show now and Donte isn't ok with that, Vorgil either absorbs some of Mondus' power or he transforms on his own, either way, it's gonna be a LARGE and SLOW boss considering the combat system. After killing him, Donte finnaly feels he has avenged his mother and Kat, miraculously serious'es the fuck up and decides to fight to protect humanity.
And he gets white hair.
Now, wether the whole Vorgillosaurus Edge or the Orphan tears-powered machine by Nephilim is true is debatable, but there is going to be zero to none character development until the end of the game. Place the weapon and "Devil/Angel Trigger" gets in whatever mission you feel.[/i]
